TWO-DAY BUSINESS FORUM |

| MPBDP 04/06/2010 - EVENT POSTPONED - On April 22 and 23, MPBDP will be sponsoring a Women’s Business Forum at the Middlesex Women’s Club, 210 Virginia Street, Urbanna, VA 23175. During this two-day event, attendees will learn from and network with other successful women entrepreneurs. Training begins at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 22 with opening remarks by Candie Newman, Director of the MPBDP. A box lunch and training to follow will include Business Basics and Financing in a Tight Credit Market. In the evening everyone is encouraged to stay and network and enjoy Urbanna’s restaurants. Day two will begin at 8:30 a.m. with Sales: Building Relationships/Building Trust and Using Technology to Your Advantage (Marketing). Instructors include Judy Mansfield; Dorothy Fagan, Dorothy Fagan Studios; Micki Clay, The Local Accent; and Candie Newman, MPBDP. The event will wrap up mid-day Friday, 4/23, with closing remarks by Fran Slate of Home Town Health Care.
Your tax-deductible donation of $198 for this event includes all training and lunch on Thursday. We strongly encourage everyone to stay Thursday evening for a Dutch-treat networking dinner.
