January 2010 Scholarship Winners |

| MPBDP 01/20/2010 - The 2009 Safety Net Fund of the Gloucester Community Foundation provided scholarships to 3 potential new businesses in Gloucester County. The $150 scholarship covers the cost of the Middle Peninsula Business Development Partnership’s eight-week business training program that began January 12. MPBDP will also assist the entrepreneur identify ways to access capital to help the business get off the ground and grow. During stressful economic times, self-employment often becomes the option of choice when a person loses their job through downsizing or lay-off. MPBPD is proud to partner with the Gloucester Community Foundation through this tuition-assistance program.
MPBDP commends the scholarship recipients for their decision to explore their new business potential. Recipients include:
