UNDERSTANDING CONTRACTS |

| MPBDP & Spotswood Law 03/06/2009 - The Middle Peninsula Business Development Partnership and Brooke Spotswood of Spotswood Law in Gloucester are partnering to present an evening seminar specifically designed for Small Businesses. Understanding Contracts will be presented at the Saluda Professional Center on Thursday, April 9, from 6 until 8 p.m. Key topics to be covered will include:
• Contract Basics
• Non-compete Agreements for both vendors and customers
• Alternative Dispute Resolution
A question and answer period will follow. Refreshments will also be provided.
Spotswood Law opened the Gloucester office in 1992, focusing on Estate Planning, Business Law and Complex Real Estate. Mr. Spotswood has served on numerous committees for the Virginia and American Bar Associations. In addition, he frequently speaks on various business, property and tax matters. Mr. Spotswood has provided many hours of support to the Middle Peninsula Business Development Partnership and their business development training program for entrepreneurs.
